Battle Of The Books

Battle of the Books is perfect for students who are passionate about reading. Our objective for this program is to introduce students to a variety of quality literature while allowing them to work to as a team with fellow students to improve their reading skills, and enjoy the thrill of competition. Students read ten preselected books from the South Carolina Junior and Children Book Award Nominee List for that year. These books are available in print for check out in the media center and York County Public Library. Middle schools in Clover, Fort Mill, York and Rock Hill will participate this year. Anyone who enjoys reading may join !
