World Culture Club

Sullivan will offer the World Culture Club to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with presentations from Winthrop University’s International Department Student Ambassadors. This club explores cultures worldwide and gives Sullivan students a closer look into the characteristics that make them unique. Objective: Our objective is to provide an experience for our students that aligns with our school mission and embrace the IB Learner Profiles to develop their sense of identity and culture with the help of Winthrop's International Ambassadors. To be a member of the World Culture Club, students must have a signed parent permission slip returned by the deadline of Friday August 29th. The forms can be placed in my mailbox in the front office by their Falcon Time teacher. This permission slip serves as permission to attend the scheduled after-school meetings listed, however, please notify Ms. Dreier if you know the day before if your student is not attending. Students must be able to provide their own transportation from the meetings and are not allowed to walk home. Students must be picked up on time at 4:30 pm at the front office. If a student’s ride is late more than twice the students will not be able to remain in the club. No student will be allowed to walk home; they must be picked up. DATES: Friday: September 19th, October 17th, November 21st, December(none), January 30th, February 27th, March 27th, April 24th(last club meeting).
