I’m Mrs. Kathryn Brackett, and I’m a 6th Grade ELA teacher at Sullivan Middle School. Sullivan has always been a special place for me—I’m a proud alum, and I previously worked here as a teacher assistant from 22–25 before completing my student teaching and earning my degree from Grand Canyon University.
I’ve also been the Yearbook Adviser at Sullivan since 2023, which is one of my favorite parts of the year because I love helping students capture and celebrate all the moments that make our school special.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, crafting, attending conventions, and spending time with my family. I’m so excited to be back at Sullivan and can’t wait for a great year with my students!

I absolutely love math and love teaching the fundamentals of math and showing how it will be applicable and connect to everything in life.
