Team 7-1
Mrs. Melissa Rollins- Math

My teacher superpower is building meaningful relationships with students. I create a classroom where students feel seen, valued, and supported, which allows them to take risks, stay engaged, and grow both academically and personally. By taking the time to understand each student's strengths, interests, and needs, I foster trust and create an environment where every learner can succeed. I have been an educator for 28 years and am passionate about helping students learn, grow, and succeed. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time fishing, following sports, gardening, and reading. These hobbies keep me curious, active, and always learning—qualities I strive to bring into my classroom every day. I am excited to begin my first year as a Falcon and can't wait to learn, grow, and make this a fantastic year together.
Ms. Amber Jennings - Science

For the past three years, I have been at South Pointe High School, first as the Math Tutor and most recently as the Accelerate Program Facilitator, where I had the opportunity to support students in the Governor's School for Science & Mathematics program. I am also currently completing my master's degree in Secondary Education and am excited to begin this new chapter at Sullivan.
My teaching superpower: Building intuitive connections with students. I have a natural ability to meet students where they are, build meaningful relationships, and create a classroom where they feel seen, supported, and encouraged to do their best.
About me:
-
I love to laugh.
-
I am very crafty and enjoy building, restoring, and creating things. I love turning nothing into something!

I'm looking forward to getting to know my students, collaborating with my coworkers, and excited to be apart of the Falcon Family. I can't wait for an amazing school year filled with learning, laughter, and new memories.
Go Falcons!

Favorite thing about teaching or working at Sullivan?
My favorite thing about teaching at Sullivan is that it feels like family. I also think it's really cool that I get to teach at a school that my mom, dad and grandparents attended at different stages in Sullivan's long-standing history.
