My superpower is finding creative ways to inspire my students and encourage them to take risks in their artwork. By getting to know each of my students, I create a supportive environment where they feel confident exploring new techniques, expressing their individuality, and pushing the boundaries of their creativity ultimately having a lot of fun!

I am originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina! I moved to Rock Hill 4 years ago to attend Winthrop University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre K-12 Education this past May. This will be my first time teaching although I have been apart of the ST-ARTS summer program at Winthrop for the past 3 years. A fun fact about me is that I have been an actor in over 15 productions, I have directed 3 productions and been apart of tech crew for over 10.

My superpower lies in my innate ability to constantly think of others and discover ways to bring them joy. Whether it's through small acts of kindness, thoughtful gestures, or creating memorable experiences, I find immense fulfillment in brightening someone's day. From bringing someone their favorite candy, or buying their lunch. This superpower drives me to cultivate happiness in others' lives, fostering a sense of warmth and positivity wherever I go. It's not just about spreading joy; it's about making a genuine difference and leaving a lasting impact on the people I encounter.

I strive to be a lifelong learner in order to give students the most comprehensive music education possible. Through working on my Master's degree and seeking out innovative professional development opportunities, I have gained a variety of perspectives on music education to cater to each student's needs. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, reading, and traveling.
