How do you help students become leaders in their own learning?

I help students become leaders in their own learning by encouraging them to take ownership, ask questions, and think critically. I foster a growth mindset in the classroom where effort is celebrated and mistakes are apart of learning. This helps students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and the independence to guide their own growth.

What's one way you "sharpen the saw" and take care of yourself?
One way I "sharpen the saw" is by setting aside time for quiet reflection and personal growth- whether that's reading, journaling, listening to music or working out. It helps me stay grounded, recharge mentally, and show up as my best self for my students and family.

Which of the 7 Habits 4do you connect with most, and why?

I connect most with Think Win-Win because I believe in finding solutions that benefit everyone- students, families, and colleagues. In the classroom, I create a supportive environment where students learn to collaborate, resolve conflicts respectfully, and understand that success is shared. This mindset builds trust, encourages teamwork, and helps everyone feel valued and empowered.
