A little bit about yourself--where are you from? What do you like to do?

I am originally from Canton, Ohio but have lived in Rock Hill for 28 years. I attended Winthrop University for my undergrad degree and Converse College for my master's degree. I love reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family. I also love Ohio State Football!

How do you help students become leaders in their own learning?

I try to cultivate a growth mindset, teach goal setting and give choices where appropriate

Putting first things first because it helps me to prioritize what truly matters in life
